With 220 kilometers of perfectly groomed trails, the cross-country Eldorado on the sunny Ramsau am Dachstein plateau has not only attracted holidaymakers for a long time - those who cross-country ski here will meet the international elite of Nordic skiing. The longest glacier trail in the world extends at an altitude of 2,700 meters in the midst of an incomparable mountain backdrop on the Dachstein glacier. No problem, the Schladming-Dachstein region still has a lot to offer for winter adventurers of all ages: from snow tubing to hand sledging and fat bike rides to classics such as igloo building, ice skating and tobogganing. The latter is possible day and night, so you won't get bored here.
Away from the groomed slopes and après-ski, the Schladming-Dachstein region shows its quieter side. 282 kilometers of perfectly groomed hiking trails take you into a white winter hiking region, and the numerous ski touring and snowshoeing routes take you even deeper. If you prefer to explore the area while sitting and cuddled under a warm blanket, our horse-drawn sleighs are happy to be there for you.
